Hooray! We were worried this week, that we may not be able to get out of the house and make it downtown to see The Doodlebops. We’ve had the tickets for quite a while and Gabriella is very excited. We trudged through the 1/2 snowy roads and made it to the show. We even made it on time. Mama had Gabriella and Olivia both all dressed up and looking adorable, ready for their big night out on the town. Gabriella stood on her chair or daddy’s chair the whole time. She sang and danced and clapped. We all had lots of fun.

We finally got some visitors today. The snow melted off somewhat and the roads are drivable (if you have an SUV, like Nona and Papa and Uncle Greg and Aunt Jacinda).

It’s still snowing and we’re still stuck inside. We’re having fun, but cabin fever is not too far away.

It snowed all night. Daddy tried to go to work this morning, but couldn’t get out of the neighborhood. Cars piled up on our hill all morning long. They would either slide all the way down or try to make it up, get about halfway there and fizzle out, and slide back down.

This first wreck, right across the street, turned into a 4 car pile-up by late afternoon:

Tonight, we ate in and watched some TV. Daddy picked up Peiwei. Gabriella had some dumplings and white rice. Olivia had the usual… mama’s milk.

We spent the afternoon taking down the Christmas decorations. Gabriella was a big help, vaccuuming with her new vaccuum cleaner that she got for Christmas. This evening, Brooke and Conley came over for a visit. We ordered pizza and Gabriella and Conley had fun playing.

Tonight, we picked our Friday routine back up again, going to dinner with Nate and Jenny. We had sushi at Tsunami at the Riverwalk.

Daddy headed back to work today, after a long Christmas vacation. The girls were on their own.

We had our New Year’s Eve party in Owasso, as usual. We had yummy food, played some games and watched a little of the countdown festivities on TV. Uncle Greg and Aunt Jacinda came over and so did Aunt Jenny.
